I believe it's an old game. What game is this?

I don't really remember what system this game could have been for all i no is its really old game. or new i dunno. anyway in this game there were four "players". all these characters were futuristic space shuttle things and all had their own colors. there was a blue, red, yellow, and green, vehicle and when ever the players would move, they left behind a line of their own color and the object was to trap the enemy into crashing into this line. the line never went away or anything it stayed until the roud was over. can someone tell me the name of this game and any reincarnations there was o0f the this game such as updated grafx or sumthin. thnx.
