Why so many scientist likes ocultism?

Isaac Newton lived in the 1600 and 1700's. The line between science and "witchcraft" was a good bit more blurry. Note that the scientists you'vs mentioned here are all dead, and it's not their work on alchemy, the kabbalah, and vedic phylsosophy that lived after them.
