I DESPERATELY want to have another child. My 5 year old already has this disease and I am depressed daily because I am afraid I will never have the chance to experience taking home a healthy baby or have grandkids. I cannot accept not having more children but we cannot afford PGD/IFV-- not covered by insurance. I also had an abortion when I was 17. I do not regret it but always think that there is a possibility that maybe that baby didn't have the disorder. I am thinking that I may be willing to do this once, but do not want to decrease my chances of successful IVF/PGD if we are ever able to do it. It breaks my heart every day when my daughter doesn't have a sibling to play with. Everyone says that only we can determine what to do, but we cannot. We are torn. I feel strongly one way at times and the other way too. This has been a decision going on for 3 1/2 years.

How do you chew with dentures? being older?

I had a neighbor who had dentures since she was 18. Her own teeth were so crooked and her parents could not afford braces so she had them pulled. She loved her new 'teeth' but she said it took about 2 weeks to learn to eat with them. She uses a paste or glue for her dentures so they stay in place. She was never shy about her new teeth but at a New Year's party one year she had to throw up and her hubby went with her. While throwing up her top teeth came out and fell in the toilet, her helpful hubby leaned over and flushed her teeth away not knowing they were in the bowl. Poppy

Is this possibly a Swollen lymph node?

So I got an unusual bump on the back of my head which progressed down the back of my head over about 24 hours. I did a bit of research and found that it may be aswollen lymph node. To be certain it's not cancerous I'm wishing to inquire if it is possible for this to happen as a result of possibly turning my neck side to side(about past the shoulder on each side) while swimming (poor form I know)? This is the only strenuous neck or head exercise I did yesterday. It also is a bit sore and hard. How long do these things take to go away?

she sounds like the type of person that just takes takes takes in a friendship and does'nt give anything back. She's basically got what she wanted from you which was and now that side is basically done with, she does'nt need you any more. Chronic Anemia?

Thanks for your advice Bugbee, I have seen a hematologist, and she took blood (5 vials of it in fact). She referred me to a doctor who performed a EGD, and Colonoscopy, and found Ulcers in Color Ce, and Internal Hemorrhoids. He put me on high fiber diet, prep H, and sitz bath, which is nothing new. Before I saw the blood doctor, I started myself on iron supplement therpy, and the doctor said to continue it. I also started Vit "C" to help my body to absorde the iron. My primary care physician will be monotoring my blood count. The blood doctor did not seem to have many answers to my condition. I have been Anemic most of my life, but not to the degree now. Mostly I was told by doctors, my stomch produces too much acid, thus impeding the absorption of iron, and other Vitimins. The blood doctor said that I was at a point of needing a blood transfusion, but I do not take other peoples blood, so puts me in a questional situation. I also have or had 3d stage renal desease.

I have a older gelding that has to have some teeth pulled recently. Even though he is in very good condition now I would like to make sure he does not start to lose wieght now with the bitter cold winters we have up here. He is on 6lbs of Purina Sr. now along with 3/4 of a bale of hay per day. I would like to cut back a little on the quanity of grain he gets but still get the same if not more calories. From what I have expierenced with our sub zero winters up here is a horse fares better with more hay than grain. I was always under the impression that a horse gets more calories from hay than grain. We grow our own hay which is a timothy/treefoil mix which wiegh about 80 to 90 lbs.

Master or Slave Clutch Cylinder?

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed that even with the clutch pedal fully depressed on my car (2001 Daewoo Nubira CDX 2.0L DOHC) my reverse gear would grind as though the clutch wasn't fully disengaged. As the week progressed, I noticed the pedal becoming spongier until one day it dropped to the floor and wouldn't come back. Me and a friend bled the clutch line (air came out), and up until today, it has worked fine, but now it is getting spongy again. I found that vigorously pumping the clutch will cause it to stiffen up enough to make it driveable, and after the first drive of the day, It is less spongy every other time that I use it; and when I'm done driving, it feels completely normal. I've inspected all of the clutch line and have found no evidence of leakage, so I'm fairly certain that one of the cylinders is bad, but I'm not sure which it is. Are there any ways to determine whether it is the slave or master?
