350 chevy motor block numbers and what to do?

I have a 1985 chevy pickup with a 350 motor i took the numbers from the block and the motor came from a 1973 chevy belair when i rebuild the engine do buy parts for that or just say 1985 chevy pk with a350 it has electronic ignition the rod bearings and mains may not have changed what do you think
