What is your opinion on illegal aliens obtaining legit drivers licenses by bribing corrupt DMV employees?

I'm against it, of course. The DMV official belongs in jail, like any other corrupt official. But, there's nothing particularly new or unusual about this. It happens all the time. I remember a few years back reading about the same thing in DC. It happens at other government agencies as well, including INS in the past and CIS now. I remember the #2 INS official in New Jersey some years ago being convicted for selling some sort of an immigration benefit for a set of new snow tires. I imagine his price was that low because he was doing it all the time. It's good to see such people caught and punished, but it's not particularly surprising that it happens at all.
