Do celebrities get hospitalized for crazy things or is it just me?

I was just reading the Yahoo story about one of the Olsen girls being hospitalized for a kidney infection. Well, Ive had kidney infections several times and I was never hospitlaized. It seems like that happens a lot with celebrities, they are hospitalized for simple things that we just go to the doctor for.
