On several occasions my Kia Rio engine has cut out after the relay fuse has blown. I am convinced this is caused when I turn the steering wheel on full lock, ie turning into a parking space or into a driveway or any tight manoeuvre that requires full turns of the steering wheel. I can go months without it happening and then it can happen twice in a week. Is it to do with the powered steering or maybe applying the brake at the same time as the steering. Anyone any ideas?
